Campus Superstar

Oh, regarding campus superstar Shawn Tok sang very nice, and he sure get in already. 25.0, some people only got 12.0 and 13.0 and 13.5, it's all right Junjie, you're very good lor. So sad... nvm, anyway I support both of them so it's all right. For the girls, still very disappointing, it's like a totally different league from the guys lah. Dunno who get in, hope Hui Xian lor. Looks like no one's going to vote for the 3 ppl who got less than 15 for the guys cause they confirm never get in already. Just do some simple maths lah. It's like 12 marks difference upon 30, change that to 70% and is like 25+% le lor, hope no one's that dumb to go and vote lah. Unless of course the whole singapore vote and no one vote for Shawn Tok.

Harry Potter + Chinese 'O' Level Listening Comprehension

Yay! I watched Harry Potter 5 today with Wei Xiang, Zhong Yu, Matthew, Fu Yang, Shawn, Leslie, and what's that called? Oh ya, clarence ( note the small letters ). Anyway, the movie isn't that fantastic. The content was good and okay, with some stuff cut off. The graphics was superb as usual, but the fighting action was not up to my expectations. In previous movies, the fighting part was always the most captivating and interesting part. However, for this movie, the fighting part was only a few minutes, and there was only a bird's eye view of what's going on, really not nice, especially when the main reason for my liking of Harry Potter films is because of the action. Oh well, a good movie overall and still should be watched. Btw, I just love seeing that stupid doleres umbridge being fked up by those centaurs thing so funny.
Today was Chinese 'O' Level Listening Comprehension. I crapped and crapped with my friends for like 1 and a half hour after lessons ended, and then I finally went up to 4A to get ready for the exam. For some reason they were throwing paperballs at each other. Weird, but smart. So after listening to like Beethoven's Sonatas for like half an hour, the thing finally started. OMG lah, it was so bloody hard that after the 10 questions, I only did like 4. Then when the thing repeated, I like just simply fill in the rest lor. In the end after the whole thing when I compared my answers with those chinese pros, I got 8 MARKS WOOT WOOT!!!! OUT OF 10!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG an A1!! Is like so unexpected can? My correct answers were all tyco de, and then I also didn't really understand the passage and question. Oh well...
Now my chinese results are as follows

paper 1 : 46/70 ( I hope haha)

paper 2 : 54/70 ( I hope haha )

Oral : 22/40

Listening: 16/20

Overall : 138/200

= 69%???
=B3

Uh, I don't know, it's rather inaccurate though. Still, I have 5% of getting A1, 10% for getting A2, 60% for getting B3, 20% for getting B4, and 5% for getting C and less. Maybe moderation will save me, but then again, there are many more pros out there, my score although B3 is just a raw score and is quite common. Oh well...

Procastination

Wow! I've like procastinated my work for like 3 days, now I need to reschedule my schedule. Damit lah. So I'm going to watch harry potter tmr with some people and I'm so excited because I really like harry potter and sometimes I even fantasise about the world having magic and all of us going to magic school or something, isn't that like so cool? Maybe there is such a thing in a parallel dimension of some sort. However, I won't be expecting much from the show tomorrow because I have heard comments from my friends and Fredy saying that the show cut off too much. I just hope there is a lot of graphics especially at the fighting part because that's the only part I like to watch, and of course the classes. With such classes - potions, herbology, transfiguration. charms, defence of the dark arts I won't be procastinating work with the lame and boring sciences and maths ( maybe not maths haha). Well, tmr I"ll write a review if I have time so those who might want to watch it can decide for yourself.

??

Today woke up with a splitting headache so I went back to sleep and missed main band, and woke up at 1pm and felt better so I went for alumni band. Played through the songs as usual, we sounded very weird today, no bass and percussion so soft. Anyway I sense being mocked by someone today the moment I went into the band room, but never mind maybe i'm just paranoid. I went home and thought I could follow my studing schedule but end up I didn't even study at all today. Haha and yesterday also, Jia You! Must follow. Anyway I did this stupid IQ test that some of my friends took. Accurate or not I leave it up to you to decide.

Your age adjusted IQ score is 132 and the average score is 100.

Your Grade:Gifted

Well done! Your score was within three standard deviations of the mean score (top 2.27% of the population). Anyone with a general IQ this high is considered to be gifted. You have the ability to think critically, conceptualize ideas and form your own conclusions. Your ability to think in patterns and to produce order out of chaos enables you to handle complexities and see logic in everything. Needless to say you are self-aware of your abilities and have the brains for all known occupations. If you think of intelligence as the ability to adapt easily to new situations then you are at the top of the charts.

ZZ

No one knows how to fix the title thing? Nvm. Anyway, now is the time that teachers start to get the 'O' level madness in their eyes, rushing through the syllabus like no ones business and dishing out homework by the KGs, ok I know it's not that serious YET, but the last leg of my secondary school career is coming to an end with the end of year " party " looming ahead. I have to focus and concentrate on studying, although that's hard I have to start now. Though I've started a little, it's still insignificant and I totally did not follow my schedule today. And monday is 'O' level listening comprehension as well as the fact that i'm going to watch harry potter and the order of the phoenix with some 'friends'. There's a little pressure on me at the moment as I realise that actually english is a very important subject especially in this modern and globalised fast paced rat-race world where people know everything and anything. Argh, I need someone to clarify some tenses problems but I still haven't been receiving my compositions from last year, like 10 of them? and another 5 from this year. And like 10 + comprehension from last year combined with this year. Luckily my english tuition teacher is very helpful in the sense that she corrects my mistakes and clarifies things with us. Thank God. Lol, after all English is the ultimate factor in separating the thousands ( yes thousands, believe it ) of people who has 5-7 A1s in their other subjects. Hey, why must I always talk about studies, geek me anyway I can't stress enough to my juniors how important english is, don't make the mistake and follow me by not even getting basic grammar right. If you want follow me then follow my maths and science, not english haha. And I still can't wait to watch harry potter la, I can't wait!!!! But some of my friend claims that the movie isn't going to be as interesting and wowing as previous ones, partly because of the cuts but still I can't wait. Btw, dolores umbridge has that kind of face that makes you want to bash her face. =) Sorry for the long and rambling post, just take it as 2 day's worth. XD

End of chemistry

Today was very boring because got physics and maths, ya I know, I used to like maths but with my new teacher I don't really like maths now, some more is the last 2 periods from 2:30pm onwards. Then physics the teacher go through so fast until I blur liao, that's why I don't like physics because the last few chapters is so confusing.. Anyway, nothing really happened today lor, just that it rained during PE. Sad, I wanted to find the new route Chien Teng was talking about. Nevermind, after NAPFA next thursday I do not need to run anymore, yay, assuming that I pass the NAPFA test which I should, just that the school's course is rigged due to the stupid slope. When I came back, I finished the whole chemistry syllabus except the last chapter which was not taught yet. What an accomplishment lah, and then Chien Teng got 91% for his flute exam, OMG la distinction leh, some more trinity exam grade 8 is like abrsm diploma, wah. Then, that's it lor. So boring nowadays, oh ya remember to bring thermometer tmr =)

Well, today was normal. I decided to try to improve my english my highlighting useful words and phrases in this composition book yesterday night. 3 whole essays, I learnt some new words such as halcyon, vitroilic, tirade and i'm wondering if this is the way to improve, because this would only help in the vocabulary section which is insignificant. Nevertheless, i'll still continue learning about 3-5 essays a day until prelims. Yesterday was also the start of my semi-mugging season. I started yesterday because I have OCD, so I can't start on wednesday last week because it's the middle of the week which is weird to me, I have to start at the beginning of a new week, haiz I hate OCD. Anyway, I completed a few chemistry chapters but not what I intended to do. So I will continue to semi-mug these few weeks until the week before prelim where I will hibernate and mug. I like tables which are organised as I have OCD so this is my plan(Week 3 - Chemistry & Physics), (Week 4 - Biology), (Week 5 - Biology + E.Maths + A.Maths), (Week 6 - Triple science + Double maths), (Week 7 - Triple science + Double maths + Geography), (Week 8 - Triple science + Double maths + Social Studies), Week 9 - O levels Chiong all the way lor.So yeah, and on top of that, complete more essays. I which my teacher could mark our essays and correct out mistakes because I still do not know why I should use 'was' or 'were' and many other things. Haiz, luckily my tuition teacher returns our compositions back to us. Anyway, I must start studying at 3 pm because my schedule says so, so bye for now. Btw, Junjie got kicked out and guohao is still inside!!( Note the small letters for the name) so I am a little pissed.

To quit or not to quit? That is the question. Somehow, I don't think taking a diploma in piano performance is going to be easy. For those who don't know, the requirement is to perform 4-5 pieces each about 6minutes - 8 minutes long by memory. I have only learnt 3 pieces so far and have not memorised a single one of them. This means that after the 'O' levels I have to practice harder, maybe even everyday. I can do that, but what happens when I go a JC next year? With JC band and piano and studies, I think it would be very taxing and stressful. Furthermore, JC is the period I cannot screw up, else I end up with only an 'O' level certificate. Even though the exam is during JC1, if I fail any of the 3 components of the exam- recital, sight-reading, conversation(something like aural) then I have to take that component again in JC2 which I 100% cannot make time for. Decisions, decisions, I always have to make them. Also, this particular guy in my class called X is very irritating and snobbish. Because there was SAJC talk for the sec4s, we started talking about JCs. X claims that only RJC people can go to university. When I told him if a person from RJC gets BBB and a NJC person gets AAA, which will the university accept and he said the RJC person. Gosh! When I said I want to go VJC he said that RJC is the best, blah blah blah and that VJC is no good and that he can make it. Please la, just see prelim results can or not? Talk until so much, hope you go RJC and make you happy. Then die from stress not my problem. I can type this because X does not use the computer I think, so those who read this and knows who X is don't tell him ok?

Loser

Today I just got offended by someone I hate. He just walked up to me and said; " Hi, F***ed face f***er!" and gave that pathetic smile or laugh. " How's band?" with a sneering tone. I just did not bother to reply and ignored that thing. Laugh whatever you want loser, I do not communicate with such objects. Never mind, he's just someone I want to forget. I'm positively sure I'm rejected by the schools for DSA already, anyway what was I thinking, applying to those schools with such pathetic banging skills or at least uncomparable to other people like Chien Teng... So never mind, I'll just study hard, which is really really boring, I can't believe how those people survive.

No DSA

My mind is made up. No matter what happens, I will not DSA into any JC. I will use my prelim 2 results to get into the first three months, and then 'O' Level results to get into a JC. With this attitude of mine, and from other people's opinions of dsa-ers, I can't imagine myself dsaing into a JC just to be one of "those" people whom other people will ostracise. End of story. Shallow? Yes, that's me in case you don't already know. Of course, I was rejected as I still have not received the form, so I guess 99.9999999% I will not be dsaing. Also, I do not want to be tied down to band just in case I want to quit halfway due to unforeseen circumstances that I have already predicted. I do not want to ruin my JC1 life the way I did like my Secondary 3 and half of my Secondary 4 life. I believe that the people in JC are more cunning and smarter, and will be able to think of even more complex revenge plots. I'd rather die than go through my upper secondary life again. If you do not know what happened, then never mind, most of you wouldn't know anyway. Of course I have learnt many valuable lessons such as not trusting people who should be trusted. No offence to dsa-ers though, I respect your decision as it is your life, not mine. It's just that it's not something that I would like to do.

Where's my title?

For some strange reasons I can't see the title of each post. Nvm, I have decided to start studying for the 'O' Levels from today onwards because obviously I didn't get accpeted by DSA, I think. Even if I got in, I may not accept the offer due to some other reasons, but most probably I won't get in la.. since other ppl was called already but I haven't received any calls yet. Bleh so I have decided to study and get 6 points so I can get into VJC. So apparaently the only problem left is english for me la, cause I did 2005 maths paper yesterday and I got 85,93 for a.maths and e.maths respectively but I did not check my work cause I didn't want to use the full 2 hours so it should be ok. So it's just english.. I have even resorted to reading this book which teaches grammar, punctuation meant for primary school students haha.. so despo, but I realised that everytime I write english compos, whenever I come across those tenses, I don't even know why it's "had" or "have" or whatever, I see it sounds nice then use it, I can't let that happen again. I need to get my grammar correct first before I go expand my vocabulary.. So from now on it's just english, the other subjects should be ok... I am gonna become an Ang Moh. To start my english campaign right, I am going to write in clear, accurate and precise english from now on in my blog.

Hip-hop

Well, today I woke up at 7:30am to get ready for the hip-hop thingy at SRJC. So when we went there, I saw my classmates and went to them. After learning for about an hour, we still could not do the dance as my class was right behind and could not see a shit.. Then dunno what happen we just dance lor, I made so many mistakes and my 2 friends were just walking around, then when the thing finished, they said we broke the record.... lame.... I thought it was a practice only lor. There was only 1 judge and hence could not see everyone, especially my class. wah lau , this kind of standard who oso cannot break? People walking around oso still break record, let 5000 babies crawl around and they probably beat the record too. The dance was like walk here and there, turn round move left move right, so lame one lor...zzzz no wonder can break the record lah, what a cheat. After the whole event, you can see the number of bottles left behind by our so called " Gentlemen, Champions, Heroes, Angel in disguise" WOW! Some blablabla we are. Then I went for alumni and went through all the songs, it sounded really good mainly because attendance was very good, in fact the sound was a bit too brassy and there was a very good drumset player, Chong Min I think, so pro lah I wish can play like that.. Then go home and here I am =)
